Hometown Heroes Banner Program
The City of McFarland is reopening the Hometown Heroes Banner Program in preparation for the upcoming 4th of July holiday.
This program honors and recognizes McFarland’s currently serving military members, veterans, and fallen service members. Through this program, banners are displayed in the community to celebrate and remember those who have served our country.
Program Deadline
The deadline to submit a new application or return a previously received banner is:
Friday, June 12, 2026
Returning Banners
Residents who previously received a Hometown Hero banner and would like it displayed again are asked to return their banner to City Hall by Friday, June 12, 2026.
Returning your banner by the deadline helps ensure it can be included in the City’s upcoming display.
