Streets

The Streets Division is a branch of the Public Works Department.  The division seeks to abide by all federal, state, and local regulations regarding street activities.

Services:

• Coordinates or assists various community projects
• Discs various city properties for weed abatement
• Fabricates, installs, repairs, and maintains city street signs
• Oversees street and alley maintenance and repairs
• Paints street legends, stops, crosswalks, and center lines
• Reshapes shoulders and storm ditches
• Services and repairs city traffic lights
• Sweeps residential and commercial streets monthly
