Miss McFarland: A New Chapter for Our Community

The City of McFarland is proud to introduce the Miss McFarland program, the first of its kind in our city’s history. This new initiative is designed to recognize and celebrate young women who demonstrate leadership, integrity, and a strong commitment to community service.

Miss McFarland is not a traditional pageant. It is a program that highlights academic achievement, civic engagement, and personal character. Participants will share their goals, accomplishments, and how they hope to represent McFarland as a community ambassador.

The young woman selected as Miss McFarland will represent our city at the Miss Kern County Pageant in March 2026. This opportunity allows her to serve as a voice for McFarland and be part of a broader tradition that encourages education, service, and personal development.

Program details:

• Open to McFarland residents ages 17 to 23

• Focuses on leadership, community involvement, and personal goals

• Connects to the long-standing Miss Kern County Pageant, founded in 1918

• Supports young women in sharing their faith, values, and aspirations

• Applications Due 6/6/25
