Spay and Neuter Clinic Scheduled March 18 at the McFarland Animal Shelter

McFarland Animal Services will be hosting a low-cost spay and neuter clinic on Wednesday, March 18 at the McFarland Animal Shelter in partnership with the SNIP Bus.

This clinic is intended to help reduce pet overpopulation and promote the health and well-being of pets within the community. Spaying and neutering pets is an important step in preventing unwanted litters and supporting responsible pet ownership.

Appointments for the clinic are $20 and space is limited. Residents are encouraged to call or text 925-788-1763 to secure an appointment. When scheduling an appointment, residents should be prepared to provide the information requested on the event flyer, including their name, address, and their pet’s age, breed, and weight.

Walk-ins may be seen on a first come, first served basis depending on availability.

The cost of this event is being covered by Love Dogs Rescue and Foundation to help make these services more accessible to the community.
