Commercial Cannabis Application

The City of McFarland is accepting applications for proposed development of commercial cannabis operations pursuant to Chapter 19.04 of the McFarland Municipal Code. The following documents constitute the application process.  Please read the application and Municipal Code carefully to ensure that a complete application is submitted.

 Please refer your questions to psaldana@mcfarlandcity.org.  The City will be addressing all questions regarding the application process as they are received and will post the question and responses on this site.

Process

June 26, 2023 – Application process open.

Week of July 24, 2023 –Applications will be reviewed for completeness as received.  Target date for completeness review of applications.

Week of August 7, 2023 – Review of completed applications and submission to City Cannabis Committee

Week of August 24 – Recommendations of applications to City Council for consideration
