The City of McFarland Planning Commission was developed in effort to provide a peer level review of the building and planning activities for the jurisdiction.  Once the Planning Commission reviews an item, it makes recommendations to the City Council for action.

The Planning Commission meets the third Tuesday of each month at the City of McFarland Council Chambers, located at 401 W. Kern Street, McFarland, CA  93250.  The meeting time is 6:00 p.m.

The commission has five members:  

Chairman Mr. Robert Newkirk (Commission expires: December, 2012)

Co-Chairman Mr. Pete Perezchica (Commission expires: December, 2012)

Commissioner Mr. Milton Mar  (Commission expires:  December, 2013)

Commissioner Mrs. Lettie Blanchard (Commission expires:  December, 2014)

Commissioner Ms. Alicia Puentes  (Commission expires:  December, 2014)
